SIOUX FALLS (AP) — The Flandreau woman accused of forging voter-registration cards is adding three names to her lawsuit.
Becky Red Earth-Villeda filed a lawsuit against Attorney General Mark Barnett last month.
This week, she added Republican Rep. John Thune, state Republican Party Chairman Joel Rosenthal and state House Majority Leader Bill
Peterson to the suit.
Red Earth, 49, accuses them of harassment and of violating her right to free speech and to take part in the election process.
According to Barnett's court response, the complaint should be dismissed. The other three men don't want to comment because they haven't been served papers.
Red Earth made her initial court appearance Thursday in Sioux Falls on 19 counts of forgery related to an investigation done by Barnett.
