Rushmore soccer teams win 2 state titles

SIOUX FALLS - Rushmore Soccer's Under-16 boys team defeated Great Plains Rapids 3-1 for the South Dakota State Challenge Cup Championship on Saturday.

Rushmore's U-18 boys team also took home a state title by beating the Great Plains Rapids, 3-1.

The Dakota Gold Adrenaline beat Rushmore 2-0 in the U-14 girls title game.

Four more Rushmore teams will play for titles today as the event wraps up. The Rushmore U-15 girls play Dakota Gold Alliance at 9 a.m., while the U-16 16 girls battle Dakota Gold Millennium at 11 a.m.

The Rushmore U-14 boys face the Dakota Gold Fury today at 11 a.m., while the U-15 boys take on the Dakota Gold Phantom at 11 a.m.
