Tribal chairman's meeting Friday

RAPID CITY -- Great Plains Tribal Chairman's Association will meet Friday, July 28, in Rapid City to discuss a variety of issues including review of the American Indian Probate Reform Act regulations, the Office of Indian Education Programs reorganization lawsuit and Bear Butte buffer zone.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the Pactola Room at Best Western Ramkota and Conference Center on 2111 N. La Crosse St.
The agenda includes reports and discussion on Bear Butte, budget appropriations, trust reform, draft agreement on practices and policies for river enforcement and protection of waterways and other items.
