Badlands Circuit rodeo champs to be determined today

SPEARFISH - It's down to one round to determine the 2006 Badlands Circuit rodeo champions.
Standings in three of seven events tightened after Saturday's second performance at the 7 Down Arena. The finals are today at 2 p.m.
Kyle's Jesse Wilson scored an 82 to edge closer to saddle bronc leader Dusty Hansauer of Dickinson, N.D.
Hansauer, leading by $727 going into the weekend, failed to score for a second night.
Philip's Brandon West and Chad Ferley of Oelrichs tied for Saturday's go at 85.
Team ropers Alfred Hanson of Dickinson, N.D., and Belle Fourche's Seth Hansauer overtook J.B. Lord of Piedmont and Jake Nelson of Creighton by after clocking identical 6.6's Friday and Saturday.
Lord and Nelson also clocked a 6.6 to tie for fifth Saturday.
Todd Graff of Ainsworth, Neb., assumed the lead in tie-down roping after Friday's round.
Tyler Fagerhaug of Wessington Springs tied his steer in 7.8 second to lead Saturday and also close up in the event standings.
Leader Jay Mattson finished out of the money for a second night.
Owanka's Dustin Reeves led Saturday's bareback riding with an 80.
Steer wrestling leaders Tom Hansen of Dunn Center, N.D., and Lord tied for the lead Saturday with 4.1 clockings.
Josie Jordan of Isabel blistered the barrels for a second consecutive night, clocking a 14.24.
Lisa Lockhart of Oelrichs had to lift a leg to clear one barrel, then righted a second barrel with her hand to preserve a 14.33 and second place.
Paul Weinberger's 87, combined with Friday's 74, has the Breien, N.D., bull rider leading the average going into today's finals. Pierre's Aaron Brewer and Ardie Meier of Timber Lake each scored 84.
Event champion Charles Zoss of Forestburg settled for a 66 on a re-ride.
