PRCA rodeo: B.H. Stock Show Rodeo tickets on sale

Tickets are available now by mail for the 2006 Black Hills Stock Show Rodeo and other stock show arena events at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The stock show runs from Friday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Feb. 4.

Fliers with the order forms and the rodeo schedule are available at the civic center. Ticket orders received before Tuesday, Jan. 2, will be processed before tickets go on sale at the box office and other outlets.

Rodeo tickets will be available on Jan. 2 through the civic center box office and the Silverado in Deadwood.

Rodeo performances this year will include the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Extreme Bulls at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 26-27; Great Plains Indian Shootout at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27; South Dakota High School 20X Extreme Showcase rodeo at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28; Bucking Horse & Bull Sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31; and the PRCA Pro Rodeo Tour from Thursday through Sunday, Feb. 1-4. The tour performances will be at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Rodeo tickets already are selling well, according to Steve Montgomery, civic center marketing director.

Tickets are also available by mail for the North American Sheepdog Trials on Monday, Jan. 29, and the Ranch Rodeo on Tuesday, Jan. 30.

All-day tickets for the sheepdog trials are $11 for adults and $6 for children 10 and under.

Tickets for the Ranch Rodeo preliminaries, beginning at noon Jan. 30, are $7. Tickets for the Ranch Rodeo finals at 7 p.m. are $18 for VIP seating; $13 for adults; and $6 for children 10 and under.

Tickets for the rodeo, sheepdog trials and ranch rodeo will be available online at www.gotmine.com beginning Monday, Dec. 18.
