Larsen joins economic development staff

PIERRE — Dustin Larsen joined the staff of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development as its West River Business Development Specialist, the agency announced.
Larsen will be responsible for generating business leads, recruiting new companies and retaining and expanding existing South Dakota companies, said Bill Even, director, Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
Larsen, of Centerville, has a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Doane College in Nebraska.
“Dustin has a strong technical background and solid communication skills and will be a good addition to our team,” Even said.
Larsen began his duties on Jan. 2.
