American glam metal icons Poison will play at the Buffalo Chip campground on Sunday, Aug. 5, the day before the official start of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Poison last played the Buffalo Chip in 2002, according to a news release.

The band's line-up remains the same as when Poison received national recognition in 1986 with Brett Michaels on vocals, guitar and harmonica; C.C. DeVille on vocals and lead guitar; Bobby Dall on bass guitar and keyboards; and Rikki Rockett on drums.

The band's 1986 debut album, "Look What The Cat Dragged In," went multi-platinum.

Other Poison hits include "Cry Tough," "Talk Dirty To Me," "I Want Action," "I Won't Forget You," "Nothin' But A Good Time," "Fallen Angel," "Unskinny Bop," "Something To Believe In," "Your Mamma Don't Dance" and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."

Michaels is also a film producer and actor, whose production company with partner Charlie Sheen produced "A Letter From Death Row." Michaels also starred in the film as well as produced "No Code of Conduct."

He has also written and produced songs for numerous artists including Stevie Nicks.
