Restaurant wins national award

BELLE FOURCHE — Leslie Barker, owner and general manager of the Belle Fourche Hardee’s, was named the 2006 Franchisee & Licensee of the Year by CKE Restaurants, which runs the Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. restaurant chains.

Barker won in the single restaurant category among the 1,906 Hardee’s restaurants in the system. This is the fourth year Hardee’s of Belle Fourche has received the award.

The Franchisee & Licensee of the Year award is given to one franchisee in each of four categories based on restaurant cleanliness, guest service, food quality and convenience.

The Belle Fourche Hardee’s currently has 30 part-time and full-time employees.
