SIOUX FALLS — The Board of Regents plans closed-door interviews on Monday with two finalists for the job of superintendent of the South Dakota School for the Deaf.
The regents will meet on the School for the Deaf campus in Sioux Falls.
Maureen Schloss has been the school’s superintendent since 2004 but will return to her faculty position at Northern State University this fall.
The finalists to succeed her are Terry Gregersen of Riverside, Calif. the former director of instruction at the California School for the Deaf; and Raymond C. Olson, of Garretson, a former outreach consultant and former principal at the South Dakota School for the Deaf.
The regents oversee the state’s public higher education system, the School for the Deaf, and the School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
