Julie Johnson takes Absolutely! Aberdeen position

PIERRE — Julie Johnson, a former state government official and business leader, will work to promote Aberdeen’s development in her new job as executive director of Absolutely! Aberdeen.

She has been secretary of the state Department of Labor and the state Department of Revenue, executive director of the South Dakota Rural Development Council and president of the Industry and Commerce Association of South Dakota during her 24 years in Pierre.
