Flood benefit planned for Sunday

RAPID CITY -- The Black Hills Country Music Association is organizing a benefit for a flood-stricken family in Hermosa.
“Stringbean” Stevenson and his family will benefit from a barbecue, live action and live music on Sunday, Oct. 7, at the American Legion Club, 818 East St. Patrick St., in Rapid City.
The event begins at 11 a.m. and features the auction of two handmade quilts, a sewing machine, an antique guitar and a raffle of a Native American star quilt and $50 in buffalo meat.
