Guilty plea made in OST theft

A woman pleaded guilty Monday in U.S. District Court to stealing money from the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
Kim Colhoff was charged with theft from a tribal organization for stealing an amount in excess of $1,000 from the tribe in 2003 and 2004.
One of Colhoff's codefendants, former OST treasurer David Rabbit Sr., pleaded guilty in August was sentenced to probation and to pay $10,000 in restitution.
Her other codefendant, former OST vice president Eileen Janis, is scheduled to go to trial on the charge beginning today.
Colhoff faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when she is sentenced Jan. 28.
