Education after high school topic of event

North Middle School will host an evening for parents and students to explore options for post-secondary, or college, education. Dinner will be provided. The event is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the middle school, 1501 N. Maple Ave. It's      co-hosted by Rapid City Central High School.
All of the state universities and technical schools as well as Sinte Gleska University and Oglala Lakota College have been invited to participate and share information on their programs and admission requirements.
School counselors will be available to answer questions and share information on scholarship opportunities. Middle school students will receive assistance and information on planning the high school coursework they will need to be eligible for post-secondary opportunities.Â
