Students to attend college for a day

More than 125 Rapid City Central High School students will attend "College for a Day" Tuesday and Wednesday. The event is hosted by Partnership Rapid City and the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce Education and Business Services Committee.
Students will have the opportunity to visit Western Dakota Technical Institute, National American University and the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology to investigate specific areas of study, including chemistry, nursing, veterinary technology and manufacturing. The schools will provide tours, classroom experiences and discussions, and students will eat lunch on campus. Each student may participate in morning and afternoon sessions in separate areas of study.
