Buffalo Chip Campground announced the addition of metal rock band Staind to the lineup Friday, Aug. 9, during the annual Sturgis motorcycle rally. Country star Dierks Bentley will play the same night.
Staind joins Alice Cooper, Puddle of Mudd, Kellie Pickler, Kid Rock, 3 Doors Down, Finger 11, Sugarland and ZZ Top for this year’s nine-day Sturgis Rally party at the Buffalo Chip.
Lead singer Aaron Lewis has distinguished himself as one of the most recognizable voices in rock, joining the ranks of Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers and Steven Tyler.
The band is known for its hits “It’s Been Awhile,” “Outside,” “Fade,” “Price to Play,” “So Far Away” and “Right Here.”
The combination of Staind and Dierks Bentley on the same night makes for an excellent show for country and rock fans alike, campground owner Rod Woodruff said.
