Candidate for PUC to speak at Oktoberfest

Matt McLarty, the Democratic candidate for the S.D. Public Utilities Commission, will be the keynote speaker at the annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 6, sponsored by the Pennington County Democratic Party.
McLarty will address the event, which begins at 5 p.m. at the Old Governor's Mansion, relocated to Rapid City at 3777 Anderson Road.
The event is a fundraiser for local Democratic candidates and will also feature live music and "all you can eat" German food and drinks.
Costs for the event are $25 per adult, $40 per family, $10 for students and $20 for senior citizens. Tickets are available at the event.
