One new flu case makes seven for season

Influenza activity in South Dakota during the last week of 2008 was low, slow and sporadic, according to the state Department of Health.
One confirmed case of influenza A reported the week ending Dec. 27 brings to seven the total number of confirmed flu cases so far this season.
There were no reported hospitalizations for influenza, and 5 percent of rapid antigen tests were positive that week.
