Extension livestock educators from five counties will host a series of beef cattle drylot training seminars starting Feb. 18.

The four-hour sessions will be held a total of five times on the following dates and locations:

* 5:30 p.m. Feb. 18, Codington County Extension Center, Watertown

* 8:30 a.m. Feb. 19, Renner Legion Hall, Renner

* 5:30 p.m. Feb. 19, Bon Homme County Fairgrounds, Tyndall

* 8:30 a.m. Feb. 20, Beadle County Extension office, Huron

* 5:30 p.m. Feb. 20, Bob's Steakhouse, 29336 U.S. Highway 212, Gettysburg

The seminars cost $20 to cover materials and handouts.

Each session will cover facets of drylotting beef cows as a grazing alternative.
