RAPID CITY - Integrity Mortgage is the new name of the Rapid City-based firm that until now had been named Primary Residential Mortgage.

Co-owner Judy Deyo Ritter said the Rapid City firm had been under the umbrella of Primary Residential Mortgage, a national company. Ritter said she and her business partner, Andre Brazil, decided to end that franchise-like relationship.

Besides, the Primary name was too similar to Premier Properties, the name of a Rapid City real estate office.

"My husband even called Premier by accident one day and asked for me," she said with a chuckle.

Integrity works with Mortgage and Investment Consultants of St. Paul, Minn., to gain access to 136 lenders and write loans in 14 states.

Locally, there is little other change, Ritter said.

She and Brazil have a staff of three veteran loan officers: Pat Wahl, Josh Christiansen and Teresa Rathbun.

"Everyone here is experienced," she said.

Integrity Mortgage's office is at 304 Main St., next to Raben Real Estate.
