Downtown Summer Festival under way

RAPID CITY - The Downtown Summer Festival, formerly the Festival of Presidents, will continue through Saturday with live entertainment and other activities in downtown Rapid City.

A kids carnival will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 27.

Musical performers will include the Yabba Griffith Band, James Van Nuys, New Romans, Nate Houge, Dogs Without Sweaters, Phat City Funk Band and Riff Raff. Other activities include runway shows, a fashion makeover, martial-arts and tai chi demonstrations and an arts and crafts show.
