Jalan Crossland will perform a solo show for the Rapid City Arts Council at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in the theater at The Journey Museum. Tickets for the show are $12 for Dahl members and $15 for the public.
Crossland is known as one of the country's premier acoustic guitarists. His playing has received National Fingerstyle Championship honors in 1997 and the State Championship Flatpick Title in his home state of Wyoming in 1999. He is a talented vocalist, banjo player, songwriter and an engaging showman. He released a CD, "Trailer Park Fire and Other Tragedies," in 2007.
Tickets are available at the Dahl Arts Center's Education Complex, 713 Kansas City St., from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
