A driver who hit two cars before his car finally stopped when it slammed into a tree has admitted inhaling dusting compound while driving.
A female passenger in Dustin Runs After’s car suffered a broken leg as a result of the accident in August.
Runs After, 24, pleaded guilty Monday to a driving under the influence charge and running away from an injury accident.
He was initially charged with three felonies and four misdemeanors relating to the incident. In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors agreed to drop other charges and not charge Runs After as a habitual offender.
Runs After will be sentenced on Dec. 14 and faces a maximum penalty of two years in prison on each charge.
