Hill City quilter Joan Davis has been selected as a semifinalist for the 24th annual American Quilter's Society show and contest, April 23-26 in Paducah, Ky.

Davis will join 394 others in the annual contest, offering more than $130,000 in prize money. The quilt, "Spectacular," measures 72.75 inches wide and 73 inches long and represents hundreds of hours of work.
