Black Hills State University in Spearfish has named Rajeev Bukralia dean of Educational Outreach and Special Projects.

Bukralia, who has been director of libraries at BHSU since 2005, will oversee the online and distance-education course offerings as well as the educational outreach for the University. He will administer and deliver a new online master of science degree in strategic leadership, which is expected to begin in the fall of 2008.

Bukralia has a Master of Science degree in information systems from Dakota State University, a graduate degree in book publishing and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Delhi, India. He is pursuing a doctorate in information systems.
