RAPID CITY - The Regional Rehabilitation Institute is hosting a free hearing screening for hunters at the Institute, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Noise-induced hearing loss is an irreversible condition that can progress with exposure to high levels of sound. Learn how to determine if gunfire noise is affecting your hearing and what you can do to protect your ears. All individuals who use firearms are encouraged to attend. Screenings will take about 15 minutes, and no appointment is required. For the screening, check in at the front lobby of the Institute.
Regional Rehabilitation Institute is located at 2908 Fifth Street, just south of Rapid City Regional Hospital.
For more information about the upcoming hunter hearing screening, call Regional Rehabilitation Institute at 719-1100.
