The sixth annual Golf "Fore" Children tournament last week raised nearly $20,000 for Children's Care of Rapid City.

One hundred golfers played at Meadowbrook Golf Course, including Tom Schoenhard of Rapid City, who shot a hole in one on the 17th hole, according to a news release. Schoenhard also shot holes in one in 2007 and 2008.

Children's Care, on Jordan Drive in Rapid City, annually serves more than 1,400 children with special needs through physical, occupational, and speech therapies, plus educational and psychological services. Its outreach staff members drive more than 10,000 miles a month across western South Dakota and parts of Wyoming and Nebraska
