The Tilford Port of Entry, at Interstate 90 Exit 40, is again open for business.
This port was temporarily relocated to the S.D. Highway 79 scale in Rapid City in April while I-90 near the port was under construction.
South Dakota has four Ports of Entry, one each in Jefferson, Sioux Falls, Sisseton, and Tilford. About 700,000 trucks visit the ports each year, and the four ports combined to issue more than 85,000 permits.
