Federal grand jurors in Pierre have indicted a Rosebud man on charges he ran over a child younger than 7 years old.

Ramone Good Buffalo pleaded not guilty to child abuse and assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

According to the indictment, he was driving in a residential area on Rosebud Indian Reservation June 28 when he ran over the child, whose name and gender is not included in court documents.

Good Buffalo was released on bond.
