The Miss Black Hills Gold Scholarship Program will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Custer High School.

Tickets will be sold at the door: $5 for adults, $2 for children ages six to 12, and free for children 5 and younger. The price for tickets was incorrect in a previous article in the Rapid City Journal.

Girls and women aages 17 to 24 who would like to become involved with the Miss Black Hills Gold Scholarship Program should contact Jennifer Ham-Kelley at 673-2366.

Application deadline is Monday, Jan. 7.

The program is sponsored by donations from businesses in the Custer community.

Scholarships are awarded to women who participate at the local, state and national levels of competition.

This pageant is a preliminary pageant for the Miss South Dakota Pageant.
