Gov. Mike Rounds has issued pardons for three South Dakotans convicted of crimes.
Dawn Mason of Meade County was pardoned for a 1993 conviction of possession of a controlled substance. Mason was sentenced Aug. 14, 1993 to one year in jail, suspended.
Ronald Walgamuth of Meade County was pardoned for a 2001 convicted of simple assault and resisting arrest. He was sentenced March 1, 2001 to 15 days in jail.
Nathan Miller of Lawrence County was pardoned for a 1994 conviction of grand theft. Miller was sentenced March 25, 1994 to five years in prison.
