The South Dakota Stockgrowers will host a meeting at at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Victory Steakhouse in Edgemont.

Stockgrower District 5 Director Tom Landers of Hot Springs said everyone is invited.

"It's important to be able to come together and discuss the needs of the ranching community and for the Stockgrowers to receive direction from the community especially in light of the upcoming legislative session," he said.

Presenters will include Stockgrower President Larry Nelson of Buffalo, Region 3 Vice President Marvin Jobgen of Scenic, and Stockgrower Federal Lands Committee Chairman Mark Tubbs. Theywill speak about a variety of issues concerning stockgrowers.

Sponsors will provide a beef supper at the meeting.
