After hearing from the Deadwood community, the volunteer group staging the outdoor Deadwood Jam concerts has retained the Sept. 11 and 12 dates for this year's event.
The Deadwood Jam committee voted Monday after community members voiced concerns over a potential change in dates.
Jam committee chairman Matthew Pike said his group was "more than happy to accommodate them and our sponsors by moving the festival to a weekend that works best for all of them."
The concert line-up will be announced in coming weeks for the Jam, now in its 19th year.
