Kristina Debus of Winner won the Miss Teen of South Dakota title at the weekend pageant in Pierre.
The honor includes a $1,000 cash scholarship and $500 U.S. Savings Bond.
Each of 50 candidates were scored in personality, judge's interview, formal wear, scholastic record, public service and achievement and personal development categories.
Kayleigh Schmidt of Rapid City won first in personal development, based on judges' scoring for potential capabilities and development, and her talents, skills and abilities.
