The city of Belle Fourche has a new look on the Information Superhighway.

Betty Jo Jorgensen, executive assistant to the mayor and council, is the designer of the new Web site, www.bellefourche.org, which offers everything from basic city information to various forms through the engineering department.

"It's another avenue for people to get information and be involved," she said.

Some of the features on the city Web site include: a list of city jobs along with online applications and city ordinances.

Jorgensen is working to incorporate maps into the pages as well.

"The engineering department did a good job of getting their materials up," she said.

That department has code enforcement complaint forms online, zoning variance request forms and other information and forms.

"We have automatic utility payment forms online, too," she said.
