Mount Rushmore National Memorial is now operating on fall hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for the Lincoln Borglum Museum and information center.

The sculpture will be illuminated, without ceremony, from dusk until about 10:30 p.m. each evening. The historic Sculptor's Studio is closed until next spring. Ranger walks will be held daily until Nov. 1.

The gift shop will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Oct. 12, then until 7 p.m. through Oct. 24, when it will start closing at 6 p.m. The Carvers Cafe will serve from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until Oct. 12, then until 4:30 p.m. through the remainder of the fall season.
