The Rushmore German Club, operators of the German Tent, will host the fair's first all-ages
"Chicken Games" scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the familiar blue-and-white tent
at the Central States Fair.
One of the events included in the games will be German (rather than Russian) Egg Roulette.
Placed in front of each contestant are a dozen hard boiled eggs - actually 11 hardboiled eggs
and one regular egg. Contestants take turns smashing an egg on their own head. The first person
to get the "real egg" is eliminated, and another person sits down to take on the champion, with a
new dozen eggs, of course.
All ages are invited to attend the Chicken Games at the German tent for prizes and messy fun.
