Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., will attend separate meetings today in Rapid City about the region's economy and Ellsworth Air Force Base.

The Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce economic roundtable will begin at 10 a.m. Representatives of area banks, automotive dealerships, housing contractors and real estate groups are scheduled to attend.

The Ellsworth task force session will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the same location, Room 207 at 444 Mount Rushmore Road.
