Ceremonies Friday, Dec. 19, at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology will honor three graduating seniors, all members of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.
Traditional star quilts and feathers signifying a great accomplishment will be presented to William Kindle, an electrical engineering student from Rapid City, Jade Herman, an interdisciplinary sciences student from Mission, and James Sanovia, a geological engineering student from Rapid City.
The program and reception will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the school's Surbeck Center.
Graduation ceremonies will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
