RAPID CITY - A Rapid City man charged with attempted murder for a July stabbing remains in custody as attorneys in the case review records.

Gary Two Bulls is charged with one count of attempted murder and an alternate count of aggravated assault, allegedly stabbing a man in the neck.

Two Bulls faces up to 25 years on the attempted murder charge and up to 15 years on the aggravated assault charge.

Because they are alternate counts, Two Bulls cannot be convicted of both.

His next hearing will be a status hearing Oct. 1.

Two Bulls is in custody on a $500,000 cash or surety bond.
