RAPID CITY - A Rapid City man has been sentenced in federal court to 10 years in prison for having images of child pornography on his computer.
Adam Trobee, 35, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Richard H. Battey to 10 years in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release.
Trobee pleaded guilty in June 2007 to one count of possession of child pornography.
He was indicted by a grand jury in October 2006 after an investigation by the FBI. Authorities found hundred of images of child pornography on Trobee's computer. Ten years was the maximum sentence Trobee could have received.
