U.S. Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin will speak Saturday in Rapid City during the South Dakota Coalition of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault candlelight vigil at the Memorial Park band shell.

The vigil is part of the Domestic Violence Awareness Month activities. Herseth Sandlin will speak during a 5 p.m. program.

Representatives for Sen. Tim Johnson and Sen. John Thune also will speak, as will Sgt. Matt Sargent of the Rapid City Police Department.
