Bail bond was set at $15,000 Wednesday for a Spearfish man charged with rape and sexual contact with a child under 16.

Tracy Holder, 18, made his initial appearance in Pennington County magistrate's court.

Holder is charged with third-degree rape - a Class 2 felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison and a $50,000 fine. Holder also faces a Class 3 felony charge of sexual contact with a child under 16 which carries a maximum penalty of up to 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
