South Dakota School of Mines & Technology student Jacob Boschee decided not to use his recent $1,000 grant from the South Dakota Space Grant Consortium on his own educational needs. Instead, he gave the money for astronomy programs at the Journey Museum.
Museum officials call him the "Astronomical Benefactor" and say his surprise gift helped fund displaying the Minnesota Planetarium Society's Exploradome at the museum.
