SPEARFISH - It was a sight to see for some motorists traveling along Interstate 90: a small plane landing on the eastbound lanes of the highway near Spearfish.
The plane had just taken off Saturday from Clyde Ice Field when the throttle cable broke, forcing the pilot to quickly set the craft down on the highway.
The pilot, who was not hurt, then maneuvered the aircraft across the interstate and back onto airport property.
