Black Hills Beauty College will donate 100 percent of its proceeds Friday, Jan. 2, to Rapid City teenager Ali Nowotny, who underwent brain surgery Dec. 19.
Joy and Tom Poloncic, owners of the school, have known the Nowotny family for years, and said they wanted to do something to help with medical and travel expenses.
Ali and her father, Craig Nowotny, spent eight days at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., in December while Ali underwent testing and surgery.
The Beauty College will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 2. People can make appointments or walk in for services at the college that day. People can call 342-0697 for appointments.
