RAPID CITY - A Rapid City man was sentenced Monday to 60 months in prison for selling methamphetamine.
Richard Tiger, 22, pleaded guilty in June to buying and selling meth to several people in Rapid City and Hot Springs between October and December of 2005.
U.S. District Judge Andrew Bogue sentenced Tiger. He was also sentenced to four years of supervised release after his prison term and was and ordered to pay $100 to the Victim's Assistance Fund.
Also in U.S. District Court:
* Dusty Oldson, 23, of Pine Ridge pleaded guilty to arson. U.S. Attorney Marty Jackley said the charge related to an incident Sept. 12, 2006, when a fire broke out inside a home in Northridge Housing in Pine Ridge. Oldson could face a mandatory sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced Dec. 17.
* Vernon Moves Camp, 53, of Wounded Knee pleaded not guilty to aggravated sexual abuse. Moves Camp was indicted in August by a federal grand jury. Jackley said the charge relates to an incident in March when Moves Camp engaged in a sexual act with a woman against her will. Moves Camp could face a possible maximum sentence of life in prison. A trial date has not been set.
* Brian Jefferies, 35, of Pine Ridge pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual abuse. Jefferies was indicted in September by a federal grand jury. He is accused of forcing two girls younger than 16 to engage in sex acts. Those incidents allegedly took place in July. Jefferies faces a maximum possible sentence of life in prison on each count.
