SIOUX FALLS - A Highmore woman injured in a weekend shooting has died.

Pam Huber was shot in the head Sunday night. She died Friday at a Sioux Falls hospital.

Her family released a written statement thanking the community for its support and asking for continued prayers.

Huber's husband - Ken - has been questioned about the shooting but has not been arrested. He is the former police chief in Highmore.

The state Division of Criminal Investigation is continuing its investigation.
