A Belle Fourche teen's ability to doodle has placed her among the finalists for Google's "What I Wish for the World" contest.

Danielle Voyles, 18, is in the running for a $15,000 college scholarship and a $25,000 technology grant for her school, Belle Fourche High School. The winner will also have his or her design on the Google internet home page on May 21.

Voting in the contest runs through next Monday, May 18.

Voyle named her Google doodle "Come Together." With the sketch, which features the word Google with a peace sign inside one "o" and a globe as the other "o" and a string of flowers throughout, Voyles wrote "My doodle expresses how I wish for unity and peace for the entire world. The flowers in my doodle represent growth and prosperity that can take place every day. This is something I truly wish for the world."

A Google "doodle" is a decoration that appears periodically on the Google home page, especially on holidays and famous birthdays or other landmark events.

The public can go online and vote for their favorite doodle. The winner will be announced at the Doodle 4 Google awards ceremony at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York City, where national finalists and overall winner will be announced. The 40 finalists' will also get to see their doodles showcased in a national exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, which will run from May 21 until July 5.
