The Wall Ranger District and National Grasslands Visitor Center in Wall will change managers.
Beth Humphrey will conclude her stint as acting ranger on Tuesday, July 28. She will be the wildlife biologist for the Apache Sitgreaves National Forests based in Springville, Ariz. She has been acting ranger since June 5.
The new acting ranging, starting Aug. 3, will be Ann Carlson, the current regional aquatic ecologist based in Missoula, Mont. Her appointment will continue until a permanent ranger is named.
The Wall district and grasslands center are part of the Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands, based in Chadron, Neb.
