SIOUX FALLS - One of two Hells Angels bikers acquitted of attempted murder is out of jail and the other should find out Friday if he'll be released.
Jurors in Sioux Falls found Chad Wilson of San Diego and John Midmore of Valparaiso, Ind., not guilty of sparking a 2006 gunfight at Custer State Park during the Sturgis motorcycle rally.
Prosecutors said the men tried to kill three Outlaws bikers and two women, but Wilson testified he fired in self-defense.
Jail staff and a defense attorney said Midmore was released on bond Thursday night.
The attorney said bond was also posted for Wilson, but he first must meet with immigration officials Friday because he's a Canadian citizen.
Midmore has dual citizenship in Canada and Australia but is a resident alien.
